I know no one reads these posts. I'm sure there are several bloggers on here who write notes to themselves...like me. But there's an interesting situation brewing in the media-- the printed media-- and I just want to call attention to it.

Newspapers all across the country are hanging up their typewriters due to "financial reasons". Sure, I understand that no one wants to read their left-wing garbage, but how is it that so many dailies are going belly-up?

Well, I have a theory. Sure, there are financial problems, but I also think that it is a deliberate effort to pave the way for a nationalized media outlet. The Obama administration will see a "void" in the news industry that needs to be filled and will attempt to fill that void. How will they do it? Good question.

1) They could use the Fairness Doctrine to create a national news agency, saying that a bipartisan, middle-of-the-road agency is needed to "promote equality in the media".

2) They could take over several major newspapers through the ObamaBailout process. This would be a more covert operation where the link between the major media conglomerates would be virtually untraceable. They're liberal right? No one will look into it.

SO, that's it. Our First Amendment right will be tampered with. They want to OFFICIALLY run the show. Sorry, MSNBC. Chris Matthews may have to quit. I'm not sure he could still work after getting thrills up BOTH of his legs!
